There’s an App for That!

With so many apps available for phones such as the iPhone and the Nexus One, it’s easy to imagine that you can find an app for pretty much anything – and everything! He remembered that he had an app on his iPhone from the American Heart Association. The app was full of first aid tips and tricks, including information on injury treatment. Thanks to that app, his life was likely saved. He was able to stop the bleeding on his own, and figured out a way to use his phone to keep him from going into shock!

Lena Bryce is a young woman from the UK who had been struggling for more than three years to get pregnant. She received an iPhone for her birthday, and did a search for pregnancy apps. She chose one to help predict her most fertile day. Three months later, she was pregnant! She even delivered her baby on the exact day that the app told her she would. That’s almost creepy, isn’t it?

When we come across stories like this, it’s possible to believe there really is an app for everything these days. I can’t help but wonder what’s next? Perhaps we’ll see an app on the marketplace soon that will help you diagnose and fix your computer problems!
