The only major flaw I read on this forum is they suggest everyone buy "Vista" Vista is not stable it is not more secure than xp . Vista is not even a gaming OS , It is a resource hog that makes you instantly need 2x the ammount of ram for the system . If you game with xp crysis needs 2gb system mem if ur using vista u need 4x gig to play it . if Xp requires 1gb ram for a game, Vista instantly has no choice but need 2gb to make the same game function .Never believe anyone that tells you Vista requirements are low Just go read them on microsofts page for gaming . YEah it may have dx10 support but guess what with dx10 installed all ur old dx9 games stop working . search it up study it all , dont jump into vista with blinders on.

There are some heavy duty gamers on this forum. They can tell you what you need for a gaming system, and what the best products are.

Hello gamer801...

This particular machine was not meant to be a gaming machine and was meant to cost UNDER $1000.00. It can be set up for moderate gaming and your $250 dollars would go a long ways towards that end, but you would really want to start with a stronger platform for gaming. If you would like some help in setting up a machine for gaming within your budget, may I suggest starting a topic in our System Building forum? The techs there would be more than happy to help you design a system that would do what you want it to do.

hi this is must taken a long time so thank.

i have a question because i am gamer and i have $1000 budget and i am look to get the best gaming computer for $1000. i think this will be a good article to reading, but then i see u only spend $775. why would u do this if u have $1000? this now does not help me or other person with $1000 because i dont know how to spend the rest $250 to get the best gaming computer for $1000. if you wanted to only spend $750, then say "computer under $750" not "$1000". it tricks me.

sorry for english, not best language.
