Comments on: ad.yieldmanager.com results when trying to check Yahoo mail?

I dont use Yahoo and have never vistited a Yahoo site and have ad.yieldmanager.

Its driving me nuts as it tried to access my default browser, Internet Explorer (IE) without promptying but then IE crashes.

I've tried a dozen different Malware products and none of them have managed to rid my PC of it.

I tried deleting the coookies from my Temp folder but upon reopening it, they are there again.

Has anyone had any sucess with any particular anti Spy / Virus software ?

@ cyberhub, Try the alternate fix:

Please download HostsXpert

Unzip HostsXpert.zip

Double click on HostsXpert.exe

Then click on "Restore Original Hosts" to restore your Hosts file to its default condition.

Click on Make Hosts Read Only to secure it against further changes.

Close program when complete.

If that doesn't work, please post a new topic in our forums.

Yes, I have Avira as well, now I cannot access yahoo pages, and also cannot access my yahoo mail. Any help at how I can get around the blocked access with avira without turning off my protection?

Yahoo Mail and Yahoo Answers are being block by my avira webguard, i followed the HijackThis instruction and does see
O2 - BHO: Browser Address Error Redirector - {CA6319C0-31B7-401E-A518-A07C3DB8F777} - c:\windows\system32\BAE.dll,waht should i do?

Continually being redirected to Gateway Search page re: this *?$%*#) yieldmanager whenever I try to access yahoo mail or yahoo games. I d/l HijackThis and the file recommended to remove did not appear in the scan. So, What's next?? GRRRR

Hi, I have been having this issue off and on for ages but last night it went nuts and it was redirecting me away from not only my yahoo mail but also from download.com, and a ton of other sites but I took this advice and it worked perfectly. Thanks so much.

I tried getting rid of yieldmanager and was not successful until I went into Internet Options/Privacy and checked the 3rd party Cookie box thereby blocking 3rd party cookies such as Yieldmanager. I don't know how many times I'd have to go into my Cookie file and delete it,next day it was there again!! Now, it is gone forever. Yea!

My friend is now having a problem of the yieldmanager box showing up when she is in Ebay and her computer slows down while this is going on. Does anyone know why this is happening. She went into Internet Options/Privacy and her tried to check the 3rd party Cookie box and her cursor changed over to the two headed arrows!! She was not able to click on the box. This is strange.

this adyieldmanager thing seems to come in different forms and different fixes. I have trend micro as my protection, and they couldnt get rid of it with their hijacker after a couple of days, and then forgot me. This problem unique to the YAHOO's has an easy fix, drop YAHOO just like their stock has dropped!!! Doesn't seem like they care, or the adyieldmanager folk maybe hired Yahoos smartest programers away from them! Goodbye Yahoo, here comes Firefox and a new email addy too!

I am just trying to do everyday stuff that you would do with a telephone 25 years ago. I keep getting that ad.yieldmanager, or Certifcate has expired that blocks me from doing my College online classes or go anywhere else I want to go. Why is this happening? I am spending more time trying go somewhere and it takes me hours sometime to et help or call AT&T yahoo. I want these Cerificates Off! I want ad.ware off I want ad.yiedmanager off! I am not a greek on computer or adventurer. My husband will wake me up in the middle of the night and ask me "what or why can't go.....? What did you do? I don't know? there goes my time being stolen again. I am still upset that a $3.95 'Pay postage only' for Free of bottle ACAI cost me 200.00 and a bank fees over $100.00. I signed something I am not aware of at the time. Suppose to be for $3.95 ONLY! Beside that they got my money and I got bounced checks. My hands are tied, AND NO additional products that I did not order but paid for after I did quit the subscription and Still they stole my money after I told them to cancelled this. They said ok, you should notice in your next statement. Yes, I noticed they ripped me off! I feel that the Certifcate and ad.yieldmanager is trying to dupe me into buying stuff or protection I don't Need!
