Okay, Windows vista ultimate kicks rear! It works perfectly with no errors, at least on my machine. Windows 7......Looks amazing, however I have incurred a small error. When i play media files such as a movie. If i fast forward or pause or whatever it is im doing the computer freezes. Thought it was the video......nope, tried re-downloading, still it froze. Other then that its fantastic. Except the crash during any video viewing. If theres a fix for that, then this beats all windows os starting from 98 to vista ultimate. Totally worth the download.......except for the whole media viewing bug....:(

I get a long slow update on windows, then if it doesn't crash completely, it tells me to download 0 updates. I tried the above fix in the command prompt and got the following error:
ERROR; the system was unable to find the specified registry key or value
is this because I have windows xp sp3 and not vista?

My computer will not start in normal mode. It only works in safe mode. When I turn on the computer, I get a screen for safe mode. If I dont access it, the windows logo comes on but does not do anything. I downloaded Explorer 8 and this is when it started. I looked in Control Panel to remove it, but it isnt there. I removed it with my CA Internet Security. I dont seem to have viruses or any problems, but I do not know how to get out of safe mode. Can you help?
Thanks so much,
Katherine

Is Windows 7 a DOS based OS. Its review regarding the performance where available. But how about the compatibility with previous version of machines. The revies make this version of Windows OS on cloud no. 9. Can you please advice me to switch or not to Windows 7.

Windows Vista was cumbersum as considered by every command line programmer. Vista do not help a graphic programmer at all.

This problem started in Widows Vista itself. And we thought it will be fixed in Vista SP1 and in Windows 7.

We are expecting at least the Windows installer problem will be fixed in the next releases.

Thanks for sharing...
