I was wondering which is a better database program for someone with limited database knowledge like me. I would like to create databases for scheduling, personnel records for a small company. I have limited database knowledge. I was reading reviews for microsoft access and filemaker, both seemed to be very good. Which program do you think is better?

Hi carolinejoy,

Both applications are very good. Access is probably more powerfull and sometimes more difficult for someone new to databases. I think it just comes down to user preference. I'm sure that both applcations will be able to manipulate the data in the way that you wish. smile.gif
