I decided to try IE 7 Beta-2. I don't like the new browser, so I went to Add/Remove in Control Panel and uninstalled the application. On reboot, The Win XP splash screen comes up, I am asked to enter my password, and while the typical message states that my application settings are being loaded, I can't get any further than, "Explorer.exe unable to locate component. Application has failed to start becasue Normaliz.dll was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix the problem". SAFE mode and trying to restore to last known good configuration allow me as far as the above message. Help! Thanks. Adam |

Uninstall problems can be fixed with "your uninstaller 2006" version 5.0.0.232. It has a 21 day free trial period and can fix many installed problems.

Installed and ran Your Uninstaller 2006 and IE7 beta-2 does not appear in the list of installed programs here, either. Since IE7 does not appear in the Add/Remove list in Control Panel and does not appear here in Uninstaller's 2006 list, how do I get rid of IE7 and get back to IE 6 SP2?
Thanks. Adam |

All is well. I used Gateway's System Restore to a point one hour before IE7 beta-2 mangled my system.
Thanks. Adam |
