I was using my computer and then suddenly everything turned very very dark, I restarted no change although at one point it went to a normal brightness, but back to very dark. I chekced all the settings and connections of the monitor to the motherboard and i could get it to again flash a normal brightness but it would go back to very dark an instant later.

My computer is about a year and 7 or 8 months old. (warranty was a year)

I asume it's a hardware issue with my monitor, but i hope not because of the flash of normal brightness, if anyone has any ideas i would be open to anything.

This problem is usually a inverter board going bad. The inverter powers the backlight on the laptop screen.
