Im not sure on what brand my mother board is, but its model number is P4VXAD, i think its ECS.

The sound card is onboard, so it cannot be changed. The problem is, for the longest time I am unable to plug my speakers into the back of the computer. It never works. I always have to use the front, where the extra USB slots are located (On most recent PC's).

Ive tried many kinds of drivers, but nothing seems to work. Maybe im installing the drivers into the wrong areas?

Help anyone?

Download the appropriate driver from here

Download it to somewhere you know where it is. Extract it to a new folder in the same location (XPs in-built extractor is easy to do this)

Once extracted, double-click the .exe or setup file. Drivers will be automatically installed to the correct location.

its a 32-bit launcher, and it never works. It always ends up not responding. Ideas?

You say you have to plug the speakers in the front. Do they work when you do this?

Have you trie3d uninstalling the drivers and rebooting?

They only work on the front. The microphone does not work on either side.

I can't install because my computer refuses to launch 16-bit and 32-bit execute files.
