Hi, I've contacted geekstogo about a computer glitch that wont seem to go away. My laptop will be working fine till all of a sudden itll shut down and restart on its own continuously until I perform a hard shutdown. Other times it will show a blue screen informing me that a physical dump was completed to prevent damage to my computer and to check for either adequate disk space or do a BIOS update. I understand none of this. One suggestion was to run a blaster worm removal tool I downloaded from norton, but it detected nothing. I assumed my laptop was working fine anyway for half a day till i got another blue screen. I first encountered this problem on 6/23/06.

A moderator from the operating systems forum recommended checking in with the malware pros. Any suggestions?

Please Click here!, and follow the recommendations in the guide.

If you're still having trouble, We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool, Hijack This. Follow the instructions in step five of this guide, and reply here with your log.

Most of what Hijack This lists lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results.
