Ok, so here's what I have done

my sister downloaded a trojan by clicking on a link on AIM... (when it tells you right on AIM that they might contain viruses, go figure)

fortunately it hasn't done real damage thanks to PCcillan that has blocked interent attempts. Here's the deal

I ran Spybot and Adaware as well as clean up. they detected things (obviously) and I deleted them.
Restarted my computer, went to the ad/remove programs and searched, no programs were listed that I didn't want.
Deleted files from the C:/ folder as well as a program from the program folder called batty
(I can't do a system restore because my mother turned it off )
I restarted, and it was on for a while
The next day I downloaded adaware and spybot updates (from another computer and transfered using USB device, it has been disconnected from the internet for a while)
I reran adaware and spybot, adaware came up with a few entries, and spybot came up with less, all were registry entries
