Hi hellodave123. Welcome to geeks to go. Have you tried
system restore Hit,Start, all programs, Accessories, system tools, system Restore, click on restore my computer to an earlier time, then pick a date before the problem. then click next. and there this you could try File Recovery http://www.pcinspector.de/file_recovery/uk/welcome.htm This post has been edited by 4238dwight: Aug 26 2006, 11:31 AM |

Will system restore delete all newly created files or not?

Here is what I just done to find out for you.
I made a new folder named it and put two pictures .jpg in it, then I done a system restore to a date just before the new folder and the new folder and the files where all there intact. You also can do undo my last restoration from system restore to bring you back to date.
