Hey there newbie geeks, try this:
On the menu bar of GTG, click "My Assistant"... When it has opened in the middle of the screen, click "My last 10 posts" under " Posting Information". This will bring up your last 10 posts. If the post you are trying to look for is not present and is older than 10 posts, try this: Click on your user name so that you goto this screen: http://www.geekstogo.com/forum/index.php?showuser=34350 Then under "Profile Options", select find "Find member's topics" or "Find member's posts". If the thread you are looking for was started by you, it would be easier picking "Find member's topics". Once you have found the post you are looking for it is best that you subscripe to it, so that if any new replys come in, it will notify you by e-mail. Do this: Under the "Options" menu, in the title bar of your thread, select "Track this topic". When the new screen comes up select "Immediate Email Notification" and click "Procced. Now when a reply is posted to the topic, you will recieve an e-mail notification. If you need any more information or help, please let me know. Cool |

Hello newbie geek
Quote: "Thx for answering my embarrassing query" No Query should be " embarrassing ", after all there is no such thing as a stupid question around here... ( Only thing stupid is NOT asking the question in the first place ) Many of other people would have also learned a thing or two from this topic... Quote:" Learn something new everday " You will learn alot of things everyday around here GTG has Very Good representing staff members... Quote: very thankful for the helping hand Good to see the help is appreciated... Best of Luck!!! ( in the near furture ) Happy computing Anthony |

This thread is from 2006. I'm not sure why you dug it up. I appreciate that you're trying to be helpful by responding to threads, but replying to 2 year old threads really doesn't accomplish much. |
