Keyboard fell out of the chair and since then, the screen on my daughters computer is blank. It's actually on because it has a greenish black tint to it, and it goes completely black when I turn the monitor off. Not sure if it's related to that, or if it's purely coincidental. I don't know if the mouse and keyboard are working as I don't have a cursor or anything else on the screen, so I can't check it. I've rebooted numerous times and tried tapping F8 to see if I could get into safe mode. No such luck. I tried control+alt+delete, but nothing came up. The sound card is bad, so I can't even tell if it's rebooting when I turn it off and back on. Someone please help? Any ideas about what I can do to bring it back? It's like it's stuck in sleep mode or something. *sigh* This post has been edited by rainbo: Sep 17 2006, 04:18 PM |

It didn't help. The monitor does a quick flashy blink and then it goes to greenish black and stays that way.
