Wonder if someone knows this problem. I was busy working with a couple of applications that were CPU intensive. Downloading file; fast forwarding through DVD; extracting a zip file The machine then went dark as if there was a power failure (No power failure). (Casing light went off), but the front panel light was on. tried to shut down the machine with the power switch, however it did nothing, so I disconnected the power supply from the wall, left it for a minute and plugged it in again, no change. CPU fan = Working Green LED light on motherboard = Working Power supply fan = Working Casing fans (2 of them) = NOT Working Graphics card fan = Working Screen = No signal, no boot, no nothing??? Please can someone help. Hope it is not serious Regards esr0509 This post has been edited by esr0509: Nov 18 2006, 09:01 AM |

Hi and welcome to Geeks to Go. You could try removing all of the ram, then boot the computer. If you do not hear beep codes, the motherboard probably died. This assumes your system speaker is working.
