Cheapest Gameing system..... HELP?!?!, hi all... i want to build the cheapest possible gaming system.....

yea... welll heres t he story... my dad said i can build a computer but it has to be cheap..... cuz i already built one like early this year... so hes not leting me build to expensive...
so help?!?!/ i whould like a parts list and prices!!!!!!!!!! THX in advance!!!!!!

Unfortunately, very few people on this board have the time to go out and build your computer for you. Generally, the way it works is that you post your build and we will offer suggestions. If you're looking for "cheap" then your best bet is going with an AMD system. The 3500+ is a decent processor for a cheap price. The cheapest dual core solution you will find is the 3800+ X2 which runs around $160 - $180 US.

My suggestion would be to go to newegg.com, build a wishlist, and then post it here.

You might struggle with BF2, and the second setup is the better, the Athlon XP is truly ancient im surprised you could even find someone trying to sell it. The X1300 is going to have alot of trouble with BF2 let alone the buggier BF2142.
