I purchased a Nikon 8mm camcorder 15 years ago. The camera lasted 2 or 3 years before failure.
The repair estimate was nearly equal to the new price.

I still have some great video on 8mm digital but no way to view or edit the videos. helpsmilie.gif

Any ideas?

Without any means of playback, transferring to your PC is out of the question, as video capture requires a playback device. You could search on ebay for a compatible playback device.
