Adobe's most comprehensive package, the Master Collection, costs a whopping $2,499 in the US, which means it should be available in the UK for less than £1,300 at current exchange rates. But Adobe prices the Master Collection at £2,313.58 in the UK — a premium of over £1,000. http://uk.news.yahoo.com/30032007/152/uk-p...-adobe-cs3.html |

Ouch! Even the upgrade prices were already astronomical. Oh well, at least it will "save lives" this time around.

No good moaning but buying it anyway. Vote with your wallets. Okay, so PS has no peers, and that's what Adobe is banking on, I suspect. We may have no choice in what our businesses buy, but home user-choosers should say "enough is enough", and buy what they consider to be the next best thing, or continue with their current version and ignore the upgrade.
