my only "hobby" is rock climbing...though i haven't had time to do it in a long time....something about forcing your way up a sheer rock face that relatively few other people have ascended is very peaceful while at the same time terrifying and challenging....you get a great sense of accomplishment

I have a ton of hobbies actually.

I hunt mainly Turkey and Deer.
I fish for just about anything.
I participate in a local Judo club.
I am a competition archer.
I golf (not well, but I enjoy it).
I help my in-laws on their dairy farm on the weekends (great escape from my 9-5 computer job and excellent exercise).
I also enjoy cooking and gardening with my wife.

i climb all over the southeast but mainly here in tennessee (chattanooga, wartburg, oak ridge etc..), i also do alot in north carolina (linville gorge, table rock, looking glass) and west virginia (seneca rocks...seneca rocks is what heaven must be like)....i'd love to travel and climb more...like maybe out west...but money and time limitations cut that possibility out any time soon

My main hobby is probably gardening ... I can fit it in around everything else!
To be really honest I guess my real main hobby at the moment is my children (well, those still at home!) ... I am either driving them around or providing an environment for them to entertain their friends.
I loooooovvvvvveee fishing ... trout ... which I do when I visit with my sister and her partner at their holiday home (a couple of times a year) - get up at 4.30am and fish till around 10 or so!
Love cooking .... healthy gourmet meals are the go in our household.
Love reading ... though when I get into a book, I tend to keep reading till I finish, which sometimes means I don't sleep.
Reading up online on health subjects ... spend more of my time on this than anything else!

same here! I love to read, and have been known to read an entire book in just a couple hours' time. I'm lucky in that I read very fast.

I love to "garden" (flowers) even though I'm not very good at it. It's relaxing to me though. Pretty much anything outdoors....I just am most at peace when I'm outside....especially near water. Love to fish, camp, hike (walk), swim, being on a boat...you name it.

Computers...duh! laughing.gif

Music is a HUGE part of my life. I love all types of music, and play several instruments very well.

My biggest passion is my daughters, and my soon to arrive granddaughter. I love going to their school events, sporting events, or just spending an evening hanging out with them. They're such awesome girls. wub.gif

My other favorite thing to do is spend time with my sweetie, who's lurking around somewhere on this site. whistling.gif Doesn't matter what we do, just being with him makes me happy and content.
