I'm new, if I put this question in the wrong place, I apologize. I found an msi log file on my laptop. I'm trying to find someone to read it and tell me what it is. Just a little info: it says: msxm14-KB927978-enu.log on the first line. Then it says: Verbose logging... It is 42 pages long. I have no clue what it is but the date of the file corresponds with a time when the security of my laptop was compromised. If anyone can help it would be great. I'll check back. THANK YOU! P.S. I was unable to attach this type of file.

Hello and welcome.

That is the log file of a system update, detailing every step of the operation. Once the update is done, you can safely delete that file.
