I looked around but couldn't find anything like this. I have had Registry Mechanic for a while. It's time to renew my update subscription. Before I do, wanted to know if there's a free program like RM--it repairs the registry removing unused entries and generally sorting things out. THANKS!!

Hi. If I understand you properly, I have two programs in mind...

First is CCleaner, which can be downloaded at www.ccleaner.com

Next is EasyCleaner. Despite it's simple website design, don't be turned off, it's actually a very nice program (Thanks to LindaGail for showing me this some time ago) You can download EasyCleaner here: http://personal.inet.fi/business/toniarts/ecleane.htm ...

Let me know if this helps you at all happy.gif
