Linux and Windows...dual booting problem

Ok i recently partitioned my hard drive from containing only a single partition from Windows xp pro, into 2 partitions. I installed linux os 2007 on the other partition. It was all good except now that i when i restart my computer, it does not ask me which to boot, and it automatically attempts to boot windows....but when it tries to boot windows, i get the blue screen and my computer restarts....can anyone help me?

Turn off your computer.

Turn it on start tapping F8

Choose disable restart on system failure.

Go ahead and provide us with the technical information.

It is in spanish, because I have windows xp pro in spanish. But the technical stuff is

UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME

then at the bottom the technical information sais

Is there any way to fix this? Or am I gonna have to reinstall windows from scratch on the windows partition, cuz i really need my laptop fast...

Ok, well I backed up the data i had, and I completely reinstalled windows and linux again, and now they both work. Thanks anyways.
