I just had a BITS corruption (Background Intelligent Transfer Service). I could not start it. (Error 2: File not found) Windows Live OneCare could not update because of it. I'm sure other things would have been affected. I searched around and found this web site with many steps avaiable to attempt a fix/reinstall of the BITS service. Step 4 finally worked for me.

WOO HOO!! A victory!

I just registered on Geeks To Go, so maybe a fix/reinstall is available on here, too. I don't know. Just thought I'd post it.

Peace...
