Hi,

I'd appreciate your feedback on the website I've built for a client. Well, he's not really a client, he's a family friend. But still, he pays, and I'd like to hear your opinion.

http://www.irlim.com

It's my first website. Hosted at the free ByeThost.com, for now. The domain is from GoDaddy. The original website design is one I found for free download on the internet - I modified it quite a bit, and there we go. Gallery uses the Coopermine software, the forum uses phpBB 3 beta.

Also, if you can give me some tips regarding SEO, I'll be grateful. I've already sent my site to the Open Directory Project.

I'd suggest maybe 10px padding on the BodyPanel div. And there seems to be a gap in between the image and a white block? Apart from that, it's good.

i like the fact that you didn't use white as the background...that offwhite is alot more pleasing to the eye than pure white....i like the organization of the gallery (though....that's probably the ease of the gallery format that facilitates that) though it's not the same background color as the main pages (probably nothing you can do about that)...i usually hate it when the "main" color of the individual pages changes drastically as you browse through things

Thanks for the feedback. Well, I didn't even notice the design was not white! laughing.gif My LCD is too bright. I did notice it on a laptop though. There's nothing I can do about the gallery... It's non too configurable...

I would recommend adding some extra color to the homepage - probably on the side.
