File: Shell32.dll Result/Infection: Change Path: C:\WINDOWS\system32\shell32.dll It say though that there are no threats found. Object summary Threats found: 0 Cleaned: 0 Moved to vault: 0 Deleted: 0 Errors: 0 Do I just ignore this, is it because of some of the security programs i have installed, Is this a registry error of some sort? Here's a list of the things i use. CCleaner Tracks eraser Pro Ad aware SE Spybot search and destroy Key Scrambler Pro Windows live one care saftey scanner |

Hello Optimos welcome to Geeks to go.
I use AVG as well and i have the same thing as you do,(i have 4 of them show up when i do my scan including Shell32.dll) i was looking around and found that sometimes when microsoft has those updates it changes things in those files and AVG lets you know about it.As far as i know there is nothing wrong with it(mine has been like that for close to a year now).I think you can just ignore it.Sorry i don't know how to get it to stop showing that. Hope that helps

I just wiped my drive clean and reloaded my operating system for a clean start. |
