When I launch the multiplayer mode I am always asked, set optimal settings y/n. If I say yes I get this error message: cpu_mp.csv:couldn't confige: -70 cpu mhz 1023sys mb 256 vid mb. The figure after confige: - is always different -70 -40 -85 -131 -141 -149 -215. If I say no the game will play for a 3 to 6 times & then I get an error message saying the game has to close down. I run XP on a Dell XPS m1710. Have launched the game from safemode & normal mode but still the same problem. I have spoken to Activision & they have run out of ideas of how to help me now...great hey. I have spoken to dell & they got me to run a hardware scan which had no errors so they say its a software problem.

Do a complete uninstall of the game, then delete the CoD folders

Then empty your recycle bin and restart your pc

Reinstall and patch to latest versions

Then see what happens
