If you are referring to the MSN Gaming Zone folder in C:\Program Files, no, you cannot delete it. It is a system file and part of XP. It contains the files for Pinball, Free Cell, Hearts, etc. These files remain even if you have "removed" the 'Games' module from "Add/Remove Windows Components."
Once removed from "Add/Remove Windows Components," the 'Gaming Zone' will no longer function. The basic files, however, do remain. Just leave them alone. |

Yes, you CAN get rid of the MSN gaming bane. Do this
Click Settings Click Control Panel CLick Add or Remove programs It's NOT LISTED, but don't panic. On the left of the display of programs there is an option to Add/Remove Windows Components. Click Add/Remove Windows Components Highlight Accessories and Utilities Click Details UNCLICK the Games box Click OK CLick Next Click Next or finish or whatever comes up next -- I can't remember That did it for me! paladin |
