This is the first time I have looked into a product like this and the first time I have run this type of scan on my system. 280 problems sounds like a lot. So, my questions are 1) Is the overall consensus that PC Tools Registry Mechanic is a recommended product and safe to use? 2) With all the problems the scan found with my system would buying the product really be that worthwhile and would fixing these 280 problems with Registry Mechanic make a noticeable difference in the operation and efficiency of my PC? Thanks for your feedback. |

From my own experience, I found PC Tools Registry Mechanic to be be a good product and safe to use. If you are ever using a registry cleaner, make sure you make a full back up of your registry before you fix anything.

Nope not really. I would recommend you use CCleaner which has a built in registry cleaner. Is is very user friendly and safe, and free This isn't really the place for these questions so I'm going to close the thread. Hopefully I've answered your questions though. |
