Most recent was the kodak easy share printer install, hung computer, had terrible time uninstalling , no help from kodak, said call ms.

Haveyou tried "last known good configuration"?
Have you tried a system restore? You can get to it thru safe mode.

Thanks so much, that link gave me the information I needed to remove the device driver that I suspicisoned was at the root of my problem Once I removed the driver my system booted right up.

What a shame these new products are not checked out before being sold to the public. My problem was caused by installing a new Kodak Easy Share printer 5100 all in one unit.

It has taken me two days to just get rebooted after installing this unit.

And of course their tech support says its a microsoft problem.....duh...
