For Firefox, have you checked Tools>Options>Advanced tab and then Network tab settings? Also, be sure to have a version of FF later than 2.0.0.4 for Vista. Preferably, the latest version 2.0.0.11. I don't use Opera, but I imagine it has similar settings.

Hello and welcome to Geeks to Go!
Could you maybe give us some more information: Have you been experiencing this issue for a while? What happens when you try to use Firefox or Opera? Do you receive any error messages? Do you have the parental controls feature turned on in Vista? Thanks, Ax |
