my suggection is go to realtek web site down load the latest driver and try that I had same trouble with my asus drivers theres worked great.

turns out it was faulty equipment the jack in the back of the speakers was busted and only wth moving it till in just the correct spot would it work the solution came to getting some regular speakers and just using those
