I am running vista, the home version, and turned the computer on to find that my programs won't open. A box pops up and says I must set associations to tell them what to open with. I have tried that with no luck. I have run AVG and found no viruses, and spybot which detected a lot of spyware which was fixed, but the problem is still there. If I right click the icon or program it will let me open some of them with administrator rights, but I am the only one who uses my laptop and have full rights anyway. Any help would be appreciated.
