Zone Alarm Pro: Installed fine, but when I tried to start the program it would open for a second then close immediately. BitDefender: Installation freezes. Program just won't open. Outpost Firewall: Worked brilliantly for a week, but then the program wouldn't open due to configuration settings being corrupt which I could not fix. I also tried to install some new Anti-Virus software, but I'm encountering problems with them too: AVG: Works, but it won't update. Kaspersky: Installed fine but it just wouldn't open. BitDefender: See BitDefender Firewall problem. NOD32: Virus scan kept freezing at 67% There has to be a connection with all of this. Does anybody have a clue how to solve it? Any help would be greatly appreciated, Cheers. |

Please go to the malware forum and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE.
That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum. If you are still having problems after getting a clean bill of health from the malware expert, please return to this thread. |
