Im really not good at when it comes down to cpu .. so I would really appreciate any help you guys have.

I want to buy my dad a laptop. He lives in Europe, but im buying his laptop here (they are much more cheaper then in Europe)
So i was wondering.. Is the USA power charger going to work properly in Europe? I've heard that European wall plugging is stronger then USA, so that might burn the cpu?

I hope I make any sense.
Thank you all for your time.

The plug is just different; but with laptops you can just buy an adapter. I can tell you which plug it is; but you would have to tell me where in Europe your father is from

Check info out here:

Lot more useful than anything I could say here.

You'll need to buy an adapter like that. You should be able to find it in electronic stores etc.

I wanted to make sure you got the info that they use 220 volts there so you need a voltage converter and the right plugs/jacks. Think they sell a travel kit that covers most of the countries.

You can check on your laptop charger; it should have a number range of Volts. You should be able to find out there.
