Hey Everyone, I'm new around here but have been lurking on and off for the past week or so whenever an issue arises. This one, I have however not been able to find the answer for.. so I turn to you!
Anyways, I am running a windows server 2003 enterprise box, and earlier today I experienced the following bsod error: 0xe0000001 (0xf631436a, 0xf6319b10, 0x00000000, 0x00000000) Any insight as to what can be done to troubleshoot this? Any preventative tips? Anything seriously wrong? All help is appreciated! Regards, J |

Hi J,
You would need to narrow down the problem a little more. Try going through your event viewer for errors and information. You can also grab your memory dump file, it will have more information as well. Read up on memory dumps here. |

jizzyman,
As michwashere said, additional information would be helpful. Have you installed any new hardware/software lately? What were you doing at the time of the BSOD? Definitely check for any errors in the event and system logs. My experience with Server 2003 is that it is quite stable; I haven't experienced a BSOD in the 2-1/2 years I've had my server running. Just in case, I trust you have a good backup system in place. |
