wireless connection problem, IBM ThinkPad with wireless adapter & Tiscali Siemens Gigaset SE587

hello please help!!! I have a just put in a Tiscali Siemens gigaset SE587 for wireless connection. My main desktop Pc (win XP) is wired in and works ok. I have a IBM thinkPad (win 2000) with intel pro/wireless LAN 2100 3B mini PCI adapter which I cant get to connect. I have checked that the adapter is working and enabled via add/remove hardware. Tiscali said they couldnt help. Anyone out there that can help me?? PLEASE surrender.gif

When you are looking at the different wireless connections on the Window Wireless Manager are you seeing you wireless connection listed on there??
