New to CSS Web design, need ideas

Alright well this is my first site that I have designed fully by MYSELF, and I need some feedback as to stuff I can add.

Right now it just feels way to plain. But that might just be me. Ideas and suggestions would be awesome.

First of all, your links do not work. They all link to the same thing - the top link bar. If you were to keep that CSS I would recommend adding some more color to the sides. You may want to change the title bar in the code of the following:

This is not a released website. It is just the layout.

The title is in there like that because it is the format I am going to use -_-

I was just asking you about the layout and the colors and such...
