How do i disable the autorun on the cd drive ?

Hi,

Can somebody pls. tell me how to disable the autorun on the cd drive on my machine that runs Windows XP Pro ?

OS: 2000 Pro, XP Pro, XP Home, Ubuntu 7.04
With the Microsoft Powertoy: TweakUI, you can do what you want and more.

For your question: Look under "My Computer" > "Autoplay" > "Drives" or "Types"

You can also disable autoplay temporarily by holding the shift key down as you insert the CD.
