I was given a computer with Windows XP 64. Personally, I have no problem with it but it's the computer my wife uses and the lack of drivers has become an issue. Specifically not being able to use the full features of our photo printer (HP 7550).
I'd like some advice on the best way to install XP Professional (or Home). Should I format the hard drive? Should I create a partition and have both operating systems? I appreciate any guidance you can offer. |

Take the long and correct route. Backup your data, reformat the disk and install XP 32.
