Welcome to GTG.
Please print the below instructions or copy them to Notepad. Make sure to work through the fixes in the order mentioned below. If there's anything that you don't understand, ask your question(s) before proceeding with the fixes. Download ATF Cleaner at http://www.atribune.org/ccount/click.php?id=1 Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program. Under Main choose Select All Click the Empty Selected button. If you use the Firefox browser click Firefox at the top and choose Select All Click the Empty Selected button. NOTE: If you would like to keep your saved passwords, please click No at the prompt. If you use the Opera browser click 'Opera' at the top and choose 'Select All' Click the Empty Selected button. NOTE: If you would like to keep your saved passwords, please click No at the prompt. Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program. Uninstall the following via the Add/Remove Panel (Start->Settings->Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs) if found: Kontiki Run a scan in HijackThis. Check each of the following if they still exist and hit 'Fix Checked' after you checked the last one: O1 - Hosts: ::1 localhost O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {8113B5DE-F7EB-4154-A311-497FB80D8BD0} - (no file) O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [4oD] "C:\Program Files\Kontiki\KHost.exe" -all O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [kdx] C:\Program Files\Kontiki\KHost.exe -all O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [MSServer] rundll32.exe C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Local\Temp\xxwtq.dll,#1 O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [6ee77e1e] rundll32.exe "C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Local\Temp\ylmkheim.dll",b O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [cmds] rundll32.exe C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Local\Temp\jkhhi.dll,c O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [MS Juan] rundll32 "C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Local\Temp\mditrtfh.dll",run Locate the following Files/Folders and delete them if they exist (if no location given, just do a search for them): C:\Program Files\Kontiki\ Go to http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/combofix/how-to-use-combofix and follow the instructions on how to install the Recovery Console and run ComboFix. Go through all the steps until posting the log part. Post the combofix log here. Download SmitfraudFix at http://siri.urz.free.fr/Fix/SmitfraudFix.zip and extract the content (a folder named SmitfraudFix) to your desktop. Open the SmitfraudFix folder. Double-click on smitfraudfix.cmd and select option #1 - Search by typing 1 and press Enter. A text file will appear, which lists infected files (if present). Please copy/paste the content of that report into your next reply. IMPORTANT: Do NOT run option #2 or any other option until you are directed to do so! NOTE: process.exe is detected by some antivirus programs as a Risk Tool. It is not a virus. If you get this detected, ignore it. |

I'm attaching the ATF Cleaner tool to this post, so get it here
If a step mentioned does not apply, just continue on. If you have a problem deleting anything, make note of it and reply back with the problems along with the logs you have. This will speed up the process a little This post has been edited by greyknight17: Apr 16 2008, 08:07 AM
