I'm not quite sure what happened but somehow 2 days ago I started to get a large number of issues with my machine. These included a toolbar in IE called vnbptxlf, a huge red picture taking over my desktop, disabled task manager, yellow bar at the top of ie windows, various popup windows about my machine being infected which directed me to various sites.

I have managed to restore task manager, and removed the toolbar via manual registry editting and deleting files, however I am still getting the yellow bar and popup windows.

I am running Virusscan Enterprise 8 with the latest defs but this picks up nothing. I've run Ad-Aware and Spybot and whilst they have removed some items they have not fixed the problem. I have also run the free version of spyware doctor, and spyhunter with the same results. IF anyone can give me some advice as to where to go from here it would be appreciated.
