I'm looking for an accessory for my 8GB iPod Touch. I want to be able to hook my iTouch to my TV and play the videos on my iTouch on the TV. Does such an accessory exist for the iTouch?

Hi, to play videos from your iPod touch on a TV, you will need the Apple composite AV cable (MB129LL/A) or if you want to play your videos on an HDTV, the Apple Component AV cable (MB128LL/A). They both list for $49.00 which is high but they do include a USB power adapter. You can't use an inexpensive cable as you could in the older iPods as the touch and other new generation iPods don't sent the video signal through the headphone jack (they use the 30 pin connector) and require an authentication chip to allow video output. The chip is only in the EOM Apple products and from what I've heard a few licensed ones as well although I haven't seen any other than the Apple cables.

May I also add that the videos might not look that good on a large television since most I Pod video is converted to smaller and pixelated formats.
