Well I tried using the upgrade disc on the computer.
No go cause I need a full.
Tried using the boot up disc then using the upgrade disc failed.
Tried the windows suggestions well some of them havent found a working one yet.
The problem i cant get to my desktop or anything.
At the log in screen it gives the error then it says im missing another file.

Hi Reno
Lets try a quick and easy
1.Start your computer, press and hold CTRL, and then choose Safe Mode Command Prompt Only from the Windows 98 Startup menu.
2.At the MS-DOS prompt, type cd\windows\command, and then press ENTER. Where windows is the name of the folder in which Windows is installed.

3.At the C: prompt, type scanreg /restore, and then press ENTER. NOTE the space between scanreg and /
4.Select the previous registry you want to restore, and then press ENTER.NOTE: A properly working registry has the word "Started" next to the date.

5.When you receive notification that you restored a properly working registry, press ENTER to restart your computer.
Cheers

Greetings Reno

A startup disk will allow you to start/boot your computer to a command prompt.

Also contains tools to file manage and some system repair utilities.
