Corrupt Images

OS: XP Pro service pack 2



I'm sorry if this is the wrong forum to post this question, but is the best place I could think/see for this question.

I recover some pictures from a bad drive (which I even post a help thread for it, and I figure it out later a way to get the dater), but some of the pictures are corrupted. Is it any software out there that I can download to try fixing those pictures? Free software would be even greater, or a demo which let me recover and save the picture for X amount of days.
