Welcome to GTG.
Download the Flash Disinfector at http://www.techsupportforum.com/sectools/s...Disinfector.exe and save it to your desktop. Double-click on it to run it and follow the on-screen instructions. Unisntall AskSBar via the Add/Remove Programs panel if found. Open up your Notepad editor (Start->Run, type in notepad and click OK). Copy and paste the text into the quotebox below: QUOTE File:: C:\WINDOWS\tokru.dll C:\smp.bat Folder:: C:\Program Files\AskSBar Registry:: [-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\~\Browser Helper Objects\{0579B4B1-0293-4d73-B02D-5EBB0BA0F0A2}] [-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\~\Browser Helper Objects\{DA40137D-AE41-4148-BFEC-916B326D5BBD}] [-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\~\Browser Helper Objects\{F0D4B231-DA4B-4daf-81E4-DFEE4931A4AA}] [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar] "{F0D4B239-DA4B-4DAF-81E4-DFEE4931A4AA}"=- [-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\clsid\{f0d4b239-da4b-4daf-81e4-dfee4931a4aa}] [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar\WebBrowser] "{F0D4B239-DA4B-4DAF-81E4-DFEE4931A4AA}"=- [-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\clsid\{f0d4b239-da4b-4daf-81e4-dfee4931a4aa}] Save this as CFScript.txt in the same location as the ComboFix.exe tool. Drag the CFScript.txt into ComboFix.exe Follow the prompts. When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Post that log in your next reply. Note: Do not click on combofix's window while it's running. That may cause it to stall. |
