I have a 250GB SATA Seagate hard drive that I currently use. I bought another 160GB Seagate SATA hard drive and I hooked it up but I dont know if it doesn't recognize it or what? Is there something special I have to do in order to get it working?? I planned on using it to download all of my songs on to.

No insult intended, but did you connect both the SATA cable and the power connector? It's amazing how often the power is left off.

If yes, does the drive show in BIOS Setup? Try booting to BIOS Setup and loading defaults, see if that makes a difference.

Perhaps it just needs a drive letter assigned then formatted?

Click on Start the Run, type diskmgmt.msc and press Enter or click OK.

You should have a Disk 0 which is your 250GB drive and a Disk 1 which is your new drive. Right click on Drive 1 and give it a drive letter, see if it's visible then.
