Dear staff at Geeks to Go. I recently posted a question asking for an opinion on bittorrent/P2P. I have since read more on the controversy and would like to apologize for the post. I can certainly see why you would want to steer clear of the issue. I'm sorry to say that I did not read the terms of use before I posted. I am a jewelry designer and have had some of my designs copied without my permission. Without doubt people are using the bittorrent technology to the detriment of original designers of material. Touchy subject. Please accept my apologies. I'll be more careful in the future.

markw47,

Apology accepted. smile.gif A jewelry designer - that's interesting. What kind of stuff do you design? Also, I'm moving this to the Feedback forum.

Okey Doke then....thumbsup.gif

First let me say that I really appreciate the service that your website provides. You and the staff are very kind.

Regarding my jewelry work, you can go to http://s111.photobucket.com/albums/n126/markw47/ and see a few of my pieces. I did most of my design work at a retail store I and a partner owned in Anchorage, Alaska call Platinum Jewelers. We opened it in 1992. In 1994 we were invited by QVC to appear and sell one of our designs. We sold 600 pieces in 3 minutes! My work has been featured in many jewelry trade magazine articles. My dad died recently so I had to sell my share of the company and move to Florida to help my mother make the transition. I have cut back on my jewelry work lately.

Cheers,
Mark
