Internet Problem, One problem pc out of 10

OS: XP
I support my father's network and it's what I do for a living, but I'm flummoxed. He has high speed connection with Embarq that quit working today. After a modem reset, all PCs will connect to the internet except for one. This PC will connect to network devices all day long, but no internet. I did a /release and a /renew on this machine to no avail. It is XP with IE 6.0. Any suggestions?

Keep in mind, I'm in my office now and will have to try things and then come back.
