Microsoft Word Problem, Was working fine then one day does not work

OS: windows xp
Hi My Microsoft Word was working fine and now when i opened it it goes to a windows installer. After that it said

"the feature you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM or other removable disk that is not available"

Can someone please help me

Was this Microsoft Works? Or did this Microsoft Office you say you had have Outlook,Powerpoint,Excel,Word all on the computer? Did you buy this computer from a friend or a retail store?
