Hi all!

I am an asp.net programmer and I created my website http://www.counter43.com/ to track my web projects. I am not a web designer and never will be smile.gif Any advice on web design will be greatly appreciated and any advice on tracking statistics will be helpful too. The site has been online for more than 1 year but I do not see any traffic on it or new registrations. It seems that something is wrong and friendly comments will help me a lot.

Thank you!

A few things.

Not much you can do about the first I guess, but when you search fro free counter, you get a ton of hits and yours is not in sight, so those people end up somewhere else.

The fact that it is "in beta" might scare of a few more.

Then spelling and grammar. I'm not a native english speaker, but these things hurt my language tentacles
- We added new feature
- Average delay between you see user on the map
- intersting
- resent

etc.

Find someone who is good at writing english and ask them to do it for you.
I know language skills have nothing to do with programming, but Average Joe will move on to someone who looks more professional.

- Cross browser support, I had to close Opera and open IE8 to view your site properly.
- The "Forum Send Feedback" at the right side looks bad readable.
- There is no support for widescreen causing the page to show a lot of white space in the right side.
(Just spread the text/tables div 100% to fix it, center the images and copyright, align the login at the right side)

The layout looks very nice besides that smile.gif
