This is simply not possible... Go ahead find some stuff out in google if you want. But you will never find a real solution to this problem. There is no way for you to take out an artists existing vocal and still have the instrumental remain in even the slightest fair quality of sound. This is an age old myth in the recording industry. Some swear they can do it but only provide mediocre solutions that leave the instrumental sounding as if your speakers were blown. Bottom line don't even bother trying, and if you need the instrumental that bad go to a record store and buy a dj version of the single you'd like the instrumental for $10.

Hi
There is no way you can extract the vocals off the top of the track, some say you can but in my experience the results sound terrible this method does very good results you can also get the song with the lyrics on, find a place with 4 or 8 beats with no singing get a program called cooledit pro insert the song - find the bars you want - place a start & end marker and then extract the the multi channel Right click on the song and loop duplicate 10 times or how long you would like the song to be this will give you an instrumental, if you want i can help just pm me check out the mixes i have done http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fusea...endid=109988732 many thanks Ian aka shannianni This post has been edited by shannianni: May 16 2008, 03:36 AM |
